Factory Sample Stock Replica Bobbed 5.1 Gallon Gas Tank

Factory Sample stock replica gas tank has a left side petcock opening, a fuel capacity of 5.1 gallons and uses stock mount hardware. Tank is carburetor type and utilizes right and left bung caps.
Does not have provisions for an OE fuel gauge. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Check the petcock opening making sure the petcock can be easily installed. The petcock opening should be masked or plugged during paiting for easy installation of the petcock. Will fit later years, if fitted with carbruetor and standard 22mm petcock type nut. *Note: UPS may consider this part as packaged "oversize" for shipment, as compared to the actual weight, which will result in higher shipping costs. Factory sample is a brand new production part but may have imperfections in the finished surface. Check threaded and bearing holes for excess plating before installation.
