Factory Sample Electric Start Oil Tank Chrome

Our chrome smooth oil tank utilizes stock mounts for installation and fits electric or kick start models.
Accepts a 12N164B battery. Battery compartment measures 7-1/2" long X 4-1/4" wide. Some 1973-1978 models may require strut brace modification. Oil tank includes a screw in cap. The fittings located on the bottom can be used as a feed. The return and vent is located on the top left. Factory sample are brand new pre-production parts but have imperfections in the finished surface. Check threaded and bearing holes for excess plating before installation. There are no physical defects, such as cracks or holes, there will be cosmetic imperfections only. Sample parts may show marks from installation test and fitment.
