Factory Sample Bobbed 5.1 Gallon Gas Tank

Factory sample bobbed one piece gas tank has a fuel capacity of 5.1 gallons, and is a replacement type for carburetor or EFI models. The tank accommodates a left side fuel gauge, and a right side screw cap.
Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Tank requires sanding and primer. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. The fuel line fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the fuel line. It is suggested to pressure test the tank and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Factory sample is a brand new production part but may have imperfections in the finished surface. Check threaded and bearing holes for excessplating before installation. There are no physical defects, such as cracks or holes, there will be cosmetic imperfections only. May have dings, dents, bent tabs and/or surface rust. Fuel tubes will need prep-work before paint. *NOTE: UPS may consider this part as packaged "oversize" for shipment, as compared to the actual weight, which will result in higher shipping costs.
