Fat Bob Gas Tank Kit 3.5 Gallon

Bobbed gas tank set includes two Eaton replica vented gas caps, 1941-1949 style shut off rod kit and 4-speed shifter gate with chrome lever. For a 2 or 3-light dash. Tank emblem mount strips attached. Does not accept lower trim set.
Must order 1951-1953 emblems and screws separately. Tank features indents for shifter gate and has a welded on shifter handle tab. Check the shut off opening, making sure the shut off valve can be easily installed. The shut off fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the shut off valve. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. All tanks or tank sets will require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed, to achieve correct height.
