Fat Bob Gas Tank Kit 3.5 Gallon

Bobbed gas tank kit has a fuel capacity of 3.5 gallons. Kit includes two Eaton replica vented gas caps, 1941-1949 style shut-off rod kit and a 4-speed shifter gate witha chrome shifter lever.
Tank emblem mount screws not included. Order seat kit separately. Mount strips are welded to each side to attach emblems, which are included. Tank may require fuel rod alignment before installation of shut off assembly. Check the tank for flaws or fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check shut off opening, making sure the shut off valve can be easily installed. Shut off fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of shut off valve. All tanks or tank sets will require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed, to achieve correct height.
