3.5 Gallon Bob Tank Kit

Bobbed gas tank kit includes a 3.5 gallon capacity gas tank set with emblem mounts welded in place. Kit includes 1955 - 1956 emblems with screws, gas cap set, shifter lever with ball, 4 speed shifter gate, and a zinc gas tank mount kit.
Kit features provisions for reserve shut off rod, which is not included. For hand shift applications and will accept 3/8" NPT petcock with male threads, not included. Opening is on the left side forward on the tank. *NOTE: Check the shut off opening, making sure the shut off valve can be easily installed. The shut off fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the shut off valve. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. All tanks or tank sets require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will have to be shimmed when installed, or achieve correct height. t in higher shipping cos
