Gas tank is a two piece set with a fuel capacity of 6.0 gallons.
Tank features a tear drop shape and accepts bolt in style aircraft gas caps. Updated shape is tapered from front to rear and fits flatside tank mount systems. Filler neck is bolt in type held in place with six chrome allen screws. Order caps separately. Please test fitment before painting. Tank weld seams may require filler to meet your individual requirements. Do not grind or sand the seams as this may cause leaks. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition and seal. This will help to stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. *NOTE: UPS may consider this part as packaged "oversize" for shipment, as compared to the actual weight, which will result in higher shipping costs.
