Unit features S&S crankcases, Sifton oil pump and breather assembly, stock stroke flywheel, Timken bearings, stock lift cam properly installed with a matched pinion and cam gear with Torrington bearing. Assembly is supplied with cam cover and chrome lifter blocks fitted with standard tappets. Tappets will accept a hydraulic lifter unit or solid conversion kit, sold separately. Manufacturer's Statement of Origin is supplied. Short block can be used with 1941-1964 4-speed transmission with the use of V-Twin #17-0139, 11-3/4" transmission mainshaft.
