Rear Hardtail Section

Raw steel rear hardtail section features cast rear axle plates on seat post yoke for an authentic look! Accepts FXST oil tank, transmission mount plate and electric start.
Use transmission mount plate and clamps as noted for mounting FXST oil tank. *NOTE: Set up for use with a 51 tooth rear pulley with 1-1/2" belt. Hardtail can be used with stock pulley and belt, as well as 61 tooth and 70 tooth combos. Use transmission mount plate mounted in Softail frame (front) and hardtail rear bolt in place "tight", this is for alignment. Hardtail accepts 1987-1999 Softail rear caliper and bracket. Bracket for caliper is welded in place on the right side. Use axle sleeve spacers to allow use of 3/4" axle in a 7/8" slot on both sides. For use with a 140 size tire. 1" clamps suggested for rear oil tank mounting. *NOTE: Must be welded in place by an experienced fabricator! The oil tank connects to the fender cross bar. *INSTALLATION: Transmission plate and top hardtail plate, with 1/4" holes, aligns hardtail to frame. Install dowel pins top and bottom, tack weld to hold in place before final welding. *NOTE: Order transmission mount plate separately.
