Factory Sample King 3.1 Gallon Gas Tank

Gas tank has a right side petcock location that uses 1975-up type and a fuel capacity of 3.1 gallons. The tank uses the same mounting as an original tank.
Tank is made 2" wider than stock and includes stock style mounts. Order gas cap separately. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. Factory sample are brand new pre-production parts but have imperfections in the finished surface. Check threaded and bearing holes for excess plating before installation. There are no physical defects, such as cracks or holes, there will be cosmetic imperfections only.
