D+D XL Rigid Frame Raw

D+D rigid frame is a basic starter frame featuring a 1-1/4" steel tubing with a 1-1/2" backbone, 30° rake and 0° stretch for XL models with disc brakes.
Frame accepts the XL rigid oil tank and the oil tank battery mount kit and will require a custom 3/4" rear axle and mid control mounts. Specers may be used that have 3/4" flats to fit the axle plates. Wheel adjuster blocks accept 3/4-24 screws. This frame does not include forward control mounts or cross shaft provision for mechanical brakes. Additional modifications, such as weld mounts, tabs, brackets, and provisions for rear mounting to the fender; may be required as the build progresses. Please consider the mounts for the sissy bar, oil tank, battery, kickstand, and rear fender mounts during the build, these are available separately. Always pre-build first, dissaemble, then complete the final build assuring that all mounts and modifications are set before painting. For the experienced builder: Frame can be set up for 1957-1985 type Ironheads or Evolution engines and can be modified to use mechanical brakes.
