Bobbed 5.0 Gallon Gas Tank Set

Gas tank accepts 1975-up petcock with nut, and has a fuel capacity of 5.0 gallons. Features left side petcock outlet. Features a bayonet type filler neck.
Tank set accepts stock dash and speedometer and accepts a bayonet type gas cap. Order cap set and petcock separately. All tanks or tank set will require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed, to achieve correct height. The top front of the mount to the rear measures 13-3/4" and the lower front mount to rear is 13-1/2". Check the tank for flwas or fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit clean , condition, and sesal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. *NOTE: UPS may consider this part as packaged "oversize" for shipment, as compared ot hte actual weight, which will result in higher shippingcosts.
