Wheel includes rubber rim strip. *Note: UPS may consider this part as packaged "oversize" for shipment, as compared to the actual weight, which will result in higher shipping costs. *NOTE: The valve stem hole is on the star side of the hub and measures 11/64" from the drum side flange. *NOTE: In the 1940's Kelsey Hayes purchased French & Hecht, an agricultural wheel manufacturing business, so in the 1960's it was F&H who actually manufactured the "Police" rim for Harley-Davidson. French & Hechtwas a better fit to produce the smaller quality of rims required for Harley-Davidson production in the 1960's. For the lace pattern, both outside layers of spokes point towards the rear of the motorcycle when looking at the drum side of the hub. Place the straight edge across the rim on the brake side and measure the distance from the straight edge to the brake side spoke flange of the hub. This should measure 11-6/4" when the rim is correctly centered.
