The braces are the wide type 3/4" and the rear hinge tail with updated construction is included. Includes a replica rigid rear fender hinge. We suggest pre-fitting fender prior to painting. Align rear fender hinge and flap before paint and finishing. Factory sample are brand new pre-production parts but have imperfections in the finished surface. Check threaded and bearing holes for excess plating before installation. There are no physical defects, such as cracks or holes, there will be cosmetic imperfections only. Sample parts may show marks from installation test and fitment

In general, match to the Spring Fork front fender brace width. 5/8" wide for years 1936-1941 3/4" wide for years 1951-1957 7/8" wide for years 1942-1950 Replacement fenders available from H-D dealers have 3/4" braces. |
