Factory Sample Replica Roadster 4.5 Gallon Gas Tank

Factory Sample Replica Roadster gas tank features steel construction. Tank comes with a stock filler neck and left side fuel line fitting. Fuel capacity is 4.5 gallons for EFI models.
Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. The tank requires sanding and primer before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. *NOTE: Must order gas caps separately. Factory sample is a brand new production part but may have imperfections in the finished surface. Check threaded and bearing holes for excess plating before installation. There are no physical defects, such as cracks or holes, there will be cosmetic imperfections only. May have dings, dents, bent tabs and/or surface rust. Fuel tubes will need prep-work before paint. *NOTE: UPS may consider this part as packaged "oversize" for shipment, as compared to the actual weight, which will result in higher shipping costs.
