The Speed Kings begins in the late 1800's with bicycle racing, which led to two-wheel "Motor-Pacing". In the early 1900's, bicycle velodrome racing inspired the creation of high-banked, 360° versions for the piston-powered machines. The age of motordrome racing began and the public couldn't get enough. At first, Motordrome racing made the front pages of newspapers promoting the country's exciting and dangerous new sport. Later, news of many tragic events saw it all crash down.
